Prime-time programs air here from 8 to 11 p.m., the same as the East Coast, while viewers in the Central and Mountain time zones see the same programs one hour earlier. Even f they watch the late news at 10 p.m., they can still go to sleep at a reasonable hour. Who decided that the West Coast should be on the same TV schedule as New York? The networks may be doing themselves a disservice by airing prime-time programs at a later time than many of us care to watch. Perhaps TV Times could take an informal poll of its readers to determine their views on this subject.
