Grateful Dead Member’s Will: Grateful Dead keyboardist Brent Mydland, who died of undetermined causes last month, excluded his two young daughters and his estranged wife from his $2-million estate. “I have intentionally omitted to provide for any person who is an heir of mine,” Mydland wrote in a will executed March 12, according to documents filed in Contra Costa County Superior Court. Mydland named James Whitmer, an old friend, as administrator of the estate.
