A Depp Deal: Johnny Depp, known for his role in Fox’s TV series “21 Jump Street,” signed a multipicture deal with 20th Century Fox on Tuesday to star in and produce films for the company. Depp’s film and television credits include “A Nightmare on Elm Street,” “Platoon” and John Waters’ quirky love story “‘Cry Baby.” Depp stars next in the title role of Tim Burton’s “Edward Scissorhands,” a modern-day fable co-starring Winona Ryder. The film is set for a December release.
