Johnson, Cypress Sink Rancho Santiago, 20-7

Brian Johnson scored six goals to lead Cypress College to a 20-7 victory over Rancho Santiago in an Orange Empire Conference water polo game at Cypress Thursday.

Cypress held a 6-3 halftime lead, but outscored Rancho Santiago in the third quarter, 8-1, to pull away.

Johnson scored four of his goals in the third quarter. Dave Cameron and Todd Baesel each scored four goals for Cypress, which improved to 6-4 overall and 2-2 in conference play.

Mark Delvaux scored four for Rancho Santiago (3-10, 0-3).
