Pay-Per-View and Closed-Circuit Offer Only Chances to View Fight

The Buster Douglas-Evander Holyfield heavyweight title fight tonight will be televised on pay-per-view cable television and at selected closed-circuit locations.
The telecast begins at 6 p.m., with the main event scheduled for 7:40. The first undercard bout is between heavyweights Riddick Bowe and Bert Cooper. Then Floyd Weaver takes on Michael Ward in a junior-middleweight six-rounder, and time permitting, light-heavyweights Andrew Maynard and Keith McMurray will meet in an eight-rounder.
Most cable companies are charging $39.95 for the home telecast. There are about 40 closed-circuit locations in the Southland, including the Palace in Hollywood, the Sports Deli in Century City, most Red Onion restaurants and Legends in Long Beach. Closed-circuit admission generally is in the $40 range, but that includes food and/or drinks at some locations.
Showtime owns the delayed rights to the telecast, with play dates to be announced. There is no radio coverage.
