Pasadena : Contracts With City OKd

Contracts to provide rides for city employees and to expand Pasadena’s curbside automated trash collection were approved Tuesday by the Board of Directors.
The $100,000 contract with Babaeian Transportation Co. is for taxi service at fares of up to $4 per person per trip, for 100 city employees who live in Pasadena and Altadena. The employees are participating in the Pro Motion program devised to meet a South Coast Air Quality Management District regulation to reduce air pollution.
The $50,000 contract with Larry Brunn will expand curbside service to 40% of Pasadena’s residential customers.
