Former world lightweight boxing champion Mando Ramos was removed from the intensive care unit at Long Beach Memorial Medical Center, where he was hospitalized Sunday after complaining of chest pains. His doctor also upgraded his condition from serious to fair and said Ramos did not suffer a heart attack.
