Krauthammer on Rap Music

I commend The Times for presenting both sides of the obscenity versus censorship controversy. It seems the sure way to defeat any effort to place limits on publicly presented art forms or entertainment is to raise the specter of “censorship.” The media seem to have a paranoid dread of the censorship monster.
Krauthammer’s article presents some alarming revelations regarding our decaying society. To thwart efforts to stem this tide of socio-moral dissolution, because of censorship fears, is like refusing to turn a fire hose on a burning house for fear that the furniture might be damaged.
