National Technical Buys Firm for $1.75 Million

National Technical Systems Inc. in Calabasas said it acquired Wise & Associates Inc. of San Antonio, Tex., for $1.75 million.

National Technical, with $30 million in revenue for its fiscal year that ended last Jan. 31, provides testing and engineering services. Wise, through its S&W; Technical Services unit, provides technical support mainly for the nuclear power industry. Its revenue for the fiscal year that ended May 31 was $12 million.
