ValliCorp Holdings Inc., Fresno, named J. Mike McGowan to the new position of executive vice president and chief operating officer of the holding company’s Bank of Fresno unit, effective Dec. 1. McGowan is currently executive vice president and chief financial officer for the holding company and the bank. Wolfgang T. N. Muelleck, previously partner in charge of Ernst & Young’s audit department in Fresno, will succeed McGowan in those positions.
