Re Daniel Cerone’s Nov. 18 article about film adaptations of Stephen King’s writings: Why is it when a great novel is made into a mediocre movie the author is ultimately blamed?
If you loved “Christine” or “It” you cannot assume that the screen versions will be equivalent experiences. It is the filmmakers’ responsibility to produce a meritorious adaptation.
