6 San Marino Students Win Trip to Germany
- Share via
Six San Marino High School students leave for Germany later this month after winning the Los Angeles Times’ Ambassadors to Europe competition, co-sponsored by Lufthansa Airlines.
The students’ team was one of the five top scorers among the 600 Southern California teams that entered the competition, which tested high school students’ knowledge of European economy, culture, geography, news and current events.
From Dec. 9 to 15, all five teams, accompanied by their teachers, will lunch with German students in their homes, visit the state parliament in Wiesbaden and tour the University of Heidelberg.
