Sign Fouls Up Laguna Niguel Traffic
There doesn’t seem to be a lot of talent demonstrated by Laguna Niguel’s administration. It seems particularly weak in engineering, but it must have been the weakest link who designated the two-lane right turn from Alicia Parkway northbound to Aliso Creek Road eastbound.
A lot of traffic congestion can be relieved by redesignating both lanes for left turns to Aliso Creek Road westbound. Of course the right lane should also have an optional right turn. Early morning traffic waiting to make the left turn sometimes backs up a mile and a half. Right turns at the same time might account for 10% of the cars. Somebody change the sign.
