Sharing the Burden

Now that most of us are about to experience higher federal taxes, fewer services and increased costs for everything, including the premiums we pay for supplemental health insurance, it would be most appropriate if we could see how the President, senators and representatives have altered their retirement payments and medical benefits to share in the financial burden that they have created.
I realize this would only be a small percentage of the budget but what a message it would provide to the people of this country and to the world.
