Once again, SURELOCK’s penchant for exactas instead of straight bets on his choices cost him a nice payoff. Big Warning, his pick in the ninth Saturday, paid $14.60, but the computer lost $90 because it couldn’t come up with the place horse.
SURELOCK’s bets for today are $100 to win on Plenty Of Grace, a $40 exacta, Plenty Of Grace to Royal Touch, and a $20 exacta reversing the two in the eighth race.
