Kidder Hurt: A Canadian television production company says it is planning an investigation of an October accident involving actress Margot Kidder, which occurred while she was working on a series in Vancouver, “Nancy Drew and Her Daughter.” Kidder said that she was badly hurt and is now confined to a wheelchair and is considering a lawsuit against the company, Nelvana Ltd. Her contract for the 13-episode series was terminated on Nov. 20 when the actress indicated that her injuries would prevent her from returning within a reasonable period. The show was set to air next year on the USA Network and in Canada. Kidder, 42, said that she and guest star Polly Bergen were being filmed driving in a 1961 Rambler convertible when the brakes malfunctioned and they were thrown forward.
