NEWPORT BEACH : Forums Scheduled on Substance Abuse

Psychologist H. Stephen Glenn will speak at two community forums this week on the problems of substance abuse.
Glenn, who is known for his work with adult children of alcoholics and dysfunctional families, will speak to teachers and other school personnel Tuesday. His speech will focus on helping youths to reach their full potential.
On Wednesday, Glenn will address parents and community members on “Building Family Strength: The Ultimate Prevention.”
Both meetings are free and will be held at the Norman R. Loats Performing Arts Center at Newport Harbor High School, 600 Irvine Ave., both at 7:30 p.m. For more information, contact Lynne Bloomberg at (714) 760-3404.
