MISSION VIEJO : Council Lengthens Terms of Planners

The City Council has voted to extend Planning Commission terms from one to two years and to select members from a pool of citywide applicants.
New Mayor Robert A. Curtis also named Sherry Butterfield as an interim planning commissioner to replace Robert D. Breton, who was elected to the council on Nov. 6.
Butterfield served as Curtis’ representative on the city’s general plan advisory committee.
