Watson Brown has been fired as Vanderbilt football coach and reassigned to a fund-raising position at the school, university officials said. The Commodores were 1-10 this season and 10-45 in his five years as coach. In Southeastern Conference play, the Commodores won only four of 33 games and lost 25 of their last 27 overall.
