Mainstream Values Versus Pluralism

A celebration of traditional family values: Sex in the back seat of cars, teen-age back-room abortions with wire hangers, incest and child molestation, sneaking around with mistresses, alcoholism and housewife pill-popping, wife-beating, lynching Negroes and teaching “the Jews killed Christ,” throwing the kids out because they’re gay.
Yes, I think we should go back to those wondrous years and recapture the naive purity of American life. “Father Knows Best” was right. Jim and Tammy Bakker were right. Sen. Joe McCarthy was right.
Ronald Reagan was right: “There’s a sucker born every minute.”
