A woman who stabbed her 71-year-old husband after a dispute has been sentenced to 180 days in custody and three years of formal probation.
Beulah Louise Stevens, 62, of El Cajon pleaded guilty in November to assault with a deadly weapon in the Oct. 25 stabbing of Byron Douglas Stevens, who was wounded in the abdomen and back.
The woman’s husband urged Municipal Judge John M. Thompson to let her go free.
