PLACENTIA : Santa to Appear for Tree-Lighting Rite

Residents will gather tonight for the annual tree-lighting ceremony at the courtyard of the Placentia Civic Center.
The free event, organized by the city’s Cultural Arts Commission, will start at 7 p.m. and will include a visit from Santa Claus. Vocal Magic and the Esperanza High School choir will also perform.
The Civic Center is at 401 E. Chapman Ave.
