Carolco in Australian Deal: Carolco Pictures Inc. has signed an agreement to distribute 10 of its films in Australia through the Village Roadshow Corp. Included in the film package are the upcoming “Basic Instinct” starring Michael Douglas and “Bartholomew vs Neff,” which features Sylvestor Stallone and John Candy. Carolco, best known for the “Rambo” movies, is based in Los Angeles. Village Roadshow is one of Australia’s largest theatrical exhibitors.
