Notre Dame junior Raghib Ismail is player of the year and Bobby Ross of Georgia Tech the coach of the year on The Sporting News’ All-America football teams. Top-ranked Colorado and Notre Dame, which will meet in the Orange Bowl on Jan. 1, each was represented by three players on the 25-member squad. Joining Ismail from Notre Dame were lineman Chris Zorich and linebacker Michael Stonebreaker. Colorado was represented by running back Eric Bieniemy, guard Joe Garten and linebacker Alfred Williams.
