El Camino Places 8, Southwest 1 on All-State JC Football Team

Eight El Camino College football players have been named to the All-State team, and one player is an honorable mention. Los Angeles Southwest College has one All-State selection and three honorable mentions.
Three Warriors are on the All-State defensive team: linebacker Shawn Miller, back William Lackey and strong safety Donovan Gallatin. Five are on offense: tailback Anthony Daigle, lineman David Samperio, tight end Calvert Johnson, wide receiver Shannon Thompson and place-kicker Louis Perez. The honorable mention is quarterback Rod Harvey.
Southwest defensive back David Mack is the Cougars’ only All-State pick. The honorable mentions are defensive end Victor Myles, linebacker Mark Fields and offensive tackle Ron Lewis.
