SOUTHLAND : Quake Rattles San Bernardino

SAN BERNARDINO — A small earthquake was felt in parts of San Bernardino County early today, but there were no reports of damage nor injury, authorities said.
The 9:44 a.m. quake measured 3.5 on the Richter scale and was centered 16 miles northeast of San Bernardino, said Robert Finn, spokesman for Pasadena’s California Institute of Technology.
Residents from Colton to Running Springs, near the epicenter about 60 miles east of Los Angeles, reported feeling a sharp jolt.
