EMORY, Utah — A Greyhound bus en route from Salt Lake City to Chicago collided with two tractor-trailer rigs near the Wyoming border today. At least six people were reported killed and 30 injured, authorities said.
Blaine Whimpe, a witness, said a westbound truck apparently slid off Interstate 80 into the eastbound lanes, colliding with a second truck and the bus.
He said it appeared that the bus turned on its side and slid about 150 feet. The National Weather Service said there was snow and wind gusting to 29 m.p.h. at nearby Evanston, Wyo., at 9 a.m.
