Aztecs Give Coach Contract Extension

SAN DIEGO — San Diego State football Coach Al Luginbill received a one-year contract extension to lead the Aztecs through the 1993 season, Athletic Director Fred Miller announced.
Luginbill directed San Diego State to back-to-back winning seasons for the first time since 1981-82. The Aztecs were 6-5 this season.
