HOT TICKET: When the University of Nevada Las Vegas plays basketball at UC Irvine, the game is usually a sellout. This year--with the Runnin’ Rebels ranked No. 1 and the defending NCAA champion--will be no exception. . . . But county ticket agencies report few requests for the Jan. 17 game at the 5,000-seat Bren Center, saying the hot tickets remain pro basketball and rock concerts. . . . One agency does say it is getting a “few scattered calls” and promises that it can get tickets for $35 or $40 apiece. Top face value: $9. UNLV will be back in the county March 2, to play Cal State Fullerton.
