Carolco May Merge Subsidiary: Carolco Pictures Inc. said it has entered into discussions for the merger of its subsidiary, Orbis Communications Inc., into Carolco Television Inc., in exchange for a package of Carolco Television equity securities. It said no agreement had been reached as to the terms of the exchange. Carolco Television was formed last May in a merger of a Carolco Pictures subsidiary with De Laurentiis Entertainment Group.
