Leslie Scores 30 to Lead USC Women

Lisa Leslie had game highs of 30 points and 18 rebounds to lead the USC women’s basketball team to an 88-74 victory over Arizona at the USC Lyon Center Friday night.
The Trojans, 8-4 overall 2-0 in the Pacific 10, have won five in a row. The Wildcats (5-11, 0-3) have lost five in a row.
USC led only 46-43 early in the second half, but went on a 13-6 run to open a 59-49 lead. Leslie, whose 30 points equals her season high, scored six points during the run.
Joni Easterly added 18 points for USC, and Tammy Story and Kem Gessig each had 10.
