Short Takes : Bonnie Raitt Engaged to Actor

Grammy-winning singer-guitarist Bonnie Raitt is engaged to marry film and television actor Michael O’Keefe, a spokeswoman said.
The couple became engaged Christmas Day and plan a spring wedding, Joan Myers, a spokeswoman for Miss Raitt, said Monday. It will be the first marriage for both.
Raitt, 41, won album of the year as well as best female rock and pop vocal honors for her “Nick of Time” album at the 1990 Grammy Awards. It was the blues artist’s 10th album.
O’Keefe, 34, stars in the Fox television show “Against the Law.” His movie credits include “Caddyshack” and “The Great Santini.”
