A 30-year-old Camarillo man was arrested on suspicion of burglarizing a doctor’s office to get drugs, authorities said Monday.
Randy Pudwill posted bail and was released from the Ventura County Jail, a jail spokesman said.
A Ventura County sheriff’s deputy patrolling Camarillo heard an alarm ringing at 1:15 a.m. Saturday in the 100 block of Arneill Road, Sgt. Paul Oeschle said. The deputy discovered windows broken at an escrow company and at the office next-door, which belongs to Dr. Donald Chen, Oeschle said.
Noting that the break in the doctor’s window was large enough to allow a person through, the deputy searched Chen’s office and found the suspect in the medicine room, Oeschle said.
Pudwill was sentenced to 30 days in jail four months ago for a similar burglary, Oeschle said.
