NEWPORT BEACH : Tickets Available for Mayor’s Dinner

Tickets are on sale for the Mayor’s Dinner, which will be held Feb. 1 at the Newport Beach Marriott Hotel and Tennis Club in Newport Center.
A community group, Speak Up Newport, sponsors the annual event, where past and present city mayors will offer anecdotes from their terms in office, said Bill Schonlau, a member of the group’s board of directors.
A refreshment hour begins at 6 p.m., with dinner served at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $40 each and available by calling Dayna Pettit at (714) 673-3899.
