News News: Bob Jimenez, news anchor at the NBC affiliate in San Francisco, will join KCBS Channel 2 as senior correspondent beginning early next month. Jimenez has worked at KRON in San Francisco since 1981. Before that he was an Atlanta-based reporter for NBC News, covering both the Southeastern United States as well as Central and South America. Jimenez is rumored to be in line for an anchor position at Channel 2, which, despite myriad anchor and news management changes over the past five years, is still mired in last place among the local network-owned stations.
