OUT AND ABOUT: Not everyone has been glued to TV war news lately. . . . Last Saturday, the Edward Hopper exhibit at the Newport Harbor Art Museum broke a record for members’ opening night attendance. More than 1,200 people showed up to see works by one of America’s best-known figurative painters. So far, attendance by the general public has been high too. The exhibit ends March 17.
