An El Cajon motorcyclist died Thursday of injuries he received after hitting a flatbed truck and skidding 250 feet before stopping, California Highway Patrol officials said.
Sean Kelley, 20, died at El Cajon Valley Hospital, CHP Officer Bob Melton said.
The accident occurred at 7:10 a.m. in the 14000 block of Old 80 Highway, east of Chimney Rock Lane, which is east of Lakeside, Melton said.
Kelley was northbound when he hit a flatbed truck that was backing out of a private driveway.
