Trout Plants Improve Catch at Lake Casitas
- Share via
The trout fishing has been so good at Lake Casitas recently that the only bass taken are being caught accidentally by trout anglers.
The lake is being stocked regularly with trout, which are being caught by casting from shore or trolling deep from boats.
Nearby, bass are biting at Lake Castaic, where Manny Arugo of Santa Clarita caught a near-lake-record 18 3/4-pound largemouth.
