STILL YOUNG: Eldrick (Tiger) Woods of Cypress, 15-year-old golf phenom, is profiled in the current Sports Illustrated, though the tourney mentioned wasn’t one of Tiger’s happier ones. . . . The magazine notes the teen-ager won his first junior world championship when he was 8. By 14 he had won a record five age-group junior world titles. But Sports Illustrated followed Tiger on last month’s Chino tournament to qualify for the Nissan Los Angeles Open. Alas, he shot a 69; the two qualifiers scored 66.
