Lorraine Norvell has been appointed managing director of Meridian Ventures Inc., a Huntington Beach mergers and acquisitions firm. Before joining Meridian, Norvell was a managing director and vice president of buyer services and systems for Geneva Cos. She was also vice president of corporate development and a regional sales manager for Business Investment Group in Tallahassee, Fla.
