AMR Corp.: The parent company of American Airlines Inc. reported its second-biggest quarterly loss. The nation’s largest carrier had a loss of $195.6 million, compared to a loss of $19.3 million in the year-ago period. The Dallas-based company said the recession and fears of terrorism kept travelers at home. Revenues were $2.77 billion, up 4% from last year’s $2.69 billion.
