Police are seeking a San Diego man recently evicted from a Logan Heights apartment in the stabbing of the 56-year-old manager of the building, authorities said.
Curtis Howard, 56, who was stabbed in the neck and ear with a sharp instrument, was found about 12:05 a.m. Tuesday in his apartment on 17th Street near Imperial Avenue, said San Diego Police Sgt. Chuck Peck.
Howard was admitted to UC San Diego Medical Center, where he was in good condition Tuesday afternoon, a hospital spokeswoman said.
Police are seeking Mark Pernell, said to be in his 30s, who was recently evicted from the building by Howard, Peck said.
