Pierce’s Lofrano Named WSC’s Top Coach

Pierce College baseball co-Coach Bob Lofrano, who teamed with Bob Lyons to guide the Brahmas to a share of the Western State Conference title, has been named conference coach of the year in voting by WSC coaches.

Pierce sophomore relief pitcher Louis Birdt, Moorpark freshman shortstop Chris Chandler and Oxnard sophomore shortstop Bryan Lovelace were among five unanimous selections to the All-WSC team.
