Thunder Silenced: “The Thunder Rolls,” a video by country music star Garth Brooks that includes graphic scenes of domestic violence, has run into more trouble. Already banned by cable’s Nashville Network and Country Music Television, it’s now also on the “don’t show” list of “New Country Video,” a syndicated music video program carried by 60 PBS stations. In the video, Brooks portrays an unfaithful husband who returns home and beats his wife. “We’re sorry they are not going to air it,” a spokesman for Brooks said. “But we stand behind it and are proud of it.”
