A tractor-trailer rig loaded with $120,000 worth of vitamins and health food was stolen this week from the parking lot of a Camarillo motel, sheriff’s deputies said.
The driver parked the truck Monday evening at the Comfort Inn in the 900 block of Ventura Boulevard, Detective Keith Parks said.
The driver spent the night in the motel and in the morning discovered that his vehicle was gone, Parks said. He said the tractor-trailer was stolen sometime between 10:30 p.m. Monday and 7:30 a.m. Tuesday.
The truck has an estimated value of $50,000, and the trailer, $18,000, Parks said.
