‘Toys for Tots’ Gets $2.5-Million Donation

The Marine Corps’ “Toys for Tots” campaign received an early Christmas present Thursday: $2.5 million from viewers of “Wheel of Fortune.”
The donation is the result of a contest, sponsored by the game show, KingWorld, Merv Griffin Enterprises and Pizza Hut, that involved nearly 5 million “Wheel of Fortune” viewers.
