Top-seeded Estancia defeated Hacienda Heights Wilson, 15-4, in the first round of the Southern Section Division 4-A badminton playoffs Thursday at Estancia.
Dung Nguyen and Sonha Tram swept in No. 1 and No. 2 boys’ doubles and Concha Gil and Thuy Nguyen swept in No. 1 and No. 2 girls’ doubles for the Eagles (17-0).
