FLOWER FESTIVAL-BEACH PARTY : Moonlight Beach to Shine

The 14th annual Encinitas Flower Festival and Beach Party will be held this weekend at Moonlight Beach. Music, an arts and craft show and events for bikers, surfers, walkers and runners will be featured.
On Saturday, a pancake breakfast will begin at 7 a.m., followed at 8 by 16- and 24-mile bike tours and the annual “Build a Bouquet Community Photo” at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. An arts and crafts show will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with music from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
On Sunday, a pancake breakfast at 7 a.m. segues into a 10K run and walk and a surf marathon, both at 8 a.m. The “Build a Bouquet Community Photo” will be at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., with the arts and crafts show from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Entry forms for the bike tour and 10K run-walk are available at all running and cycling stores throughout San Diego County. For information on the run-walk, call 942-1730. For information on the bike tours, call 942-6350.
