Saturn Recall to Boost ‘Sales’: Saturn Corp. said cars that it will use to replace 1,100 recalled vehicles will be counted as new-car sales. If supplied over a month’s time, 1,100 vehicles would boost Saturn sales for that month by about one-fifth. General Motors Corp., Saturn’s parent, reported sales of 137,810 cars, including 1,539 Saturns, in the most recent 10-day reporting period, May 1-10, and 249,974 cars, including 4,944 Saturns, for the month of April.
