Razor Ruddock and spokesmen for the Mirage hotel said the June 28 rematch with Mike Tyson is on, but Tyson and promoter Don King remained silent.
Tyson-Ruddock II also is clouded by talks that have begun for a proposed fight in the fall between Tyson and heavyweight champion Evander Holyfield.
Sources said that the Tyson and Holyfield camps differ on a purse split for what is expected to be history’s most lucrative fight, but that negotiations continue. If a Holyfield-Tyson bout is scheduled, Tyson-Ruddock II might be scrapped.
